A high-performance super-car made by Ferrari, the Italian automobile giant, the F50 saw the daylights first in 1995. It was introduced to celebrate Ferrari’s 50th anniversary and only 349 cars were made, which was one less than what the market wanted. The production had been stopped in 1997, after the last F50 rolled out from the factory in Maranello, Italy.

A two-door, two-seat convertible sports car with a removable hardtop, the F50 ran on a 4.7 L naturally aspirated 60-valve V12 engine; it was the same that powered some of the Formula One cars previously manufactured by Ferrari. A variation of the F50 is the F50 GT; it sported a fixed roof, large rear spoiler, new front spoiler and many other adjustments apart from the 4.7liter V12 engine delivering 750 bhp of raw power. Another variation is the custom made Bolide, commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei in 1998.
